On Sunday, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance began distributing copies of the Holy Qur’an as gifts from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, to Hajj pilgrims.
This year, a total of 2,521,380 copies of the Qur’an will be distributed. These copies were printed by the King Fahd Complex for Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Madinah. They come in various sizes and include translations in several international languages to ensure that pilgrims of all nationalities can benefit from this gift.
The distribution reflects the leadership’s strong commitment to the Holy Qur’an and their desire to offer pilgrims a meaningful parting gift. It also shows the care given to pilgrims throughout their stay in Makkah, from arrival to departure. This effort highlights Saudi Arabia’s dedication to serving pilgrims and managing their needs at the highest level.
