A lottery player purchased a winning Powerball ticket worth \$50,000 at a gift and board game store in North Andover on Saturday. The ticket was sold at the Winners Corner location at 2302 Turnpike Street.
The winning numbers for Saturday’s drawing were 31, 36, 43, 48, and 62, with the Powerball number 25.
In Powerball, players pick five numbers between 1 and 69 and one Powerball number between 1 and 26. They can choose how many drawings to play with those numbers.
Players who match all five numbers plus the Powerball win the jackpot. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338. Players who match four numbers and the Powerball win \$50,000, with odds of 1 in 913,129.
Powerball drawings happen every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. The current jackpot is \$54 million as of Sunday.
The Massachusetts State Lottery publishes a daily list of winning tickets valued at \$600 or more. On Saturday, a total of 250 prizes worth \$600 or more were won or claimed across the state. Springfield had three winners, Worcester had six, and Boston had 18.
So far in 2025, the two largest lottery prizes in Massachusetts were both \$15 million. One was won on a “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket sold in Holyoke, and the other came from a “300X” scratch ticket sold on Cape Cod.
