Blizzard Entertainment is celebrating the second anniversary of Diablo 4 with a limited-time in-game event that offers players exclusive rewards and major gameplay boosts. The event began on June 3 and runs through June 17, providing an ideal opportunity for both new and returning players to dive back into the dark fantasy world.
Since its launch in 2023, Diablo 4 has undergone numerous changes. These include seasonal content, a dedicated expansion, and significant updates like the widely praised Loot Reborn season, which revamped the game’s itemization system with features such as Tempering and Masterworking. While the game has faced its share of criticism, recent updates have been well-received by the community.
The anniversary event features the return of Mother’s Blessing, a special boon that grants a 35% increase in experience points and a 50% boost to gold drop rates. In addition, players who turn in Grim Favors at the Tree of Whispers will receive bonus loot in the form of an extra Gift of the Tree cache.
Blizzard is also introducing an Event Reliquary during the anniversary celebration. This feature allows players to exchange gold for exclusive in-game cosmetics, including mount trophies and weapon skins such as the Burning Dawn Bow and Sunraiser Sword. Players who collect all six available items by the end of the event will unlock the Burning Dawn Mount Armor.
