Comedian Shim Jin-hwa recently celebrated a special milestone with her husband, Kim Won-hyo, marking 5,000 days of marriage. On June 2, 2025, Shim shared on social media how her husband uses an app to count the days since their wedding. Inspired by him, she also started using the app and was amazed to see they have been married for nearly 14 years.
In her message, Shim expressed gratitude and love, saying, “It feels like we just got married not long ago, but it’s already been almost 14 years. Let’s continue to love each other as we do now, and I will keep trying. Thank you, my husband.”
Alongside her post, Shim revealed the luxurious gift she received from Kim Won-hyo. It included a heartfelt letter written on a luxury brand card. In the letter, Kim wrote, “To celebrate our 5,000 days of marriage, let’s live the next 5,000 days with affection, my love.” He also added, “We have worked hard, and let’s retire soon.”
