by Lily Brown

To raise environmental awareness among young people, the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) will host drawing and essay writing competitions for school students. These events are part of the World Environment Day 2025 celebrations and will be held on June 3 at Jawahar Bal Bhavan in Cubbon Park, Bengaluru.

This year’s theme is “Ending Plastic Pollution,” reflecting global efforts to address this urgent environmental issue. Students from primary, middle, and high schools are invited to join the drawing competition. However, the essay writing contest is only open to high school students.
