LG Electronics held a unique wedding vow ceremony event called “Love to Laundry” on June 10 at High Line Park in New York City.
The company selected 10 couples with special stories through an application process. It supported these couples in holding their wedding vow ceremonies and gifted each couple an LG WashTower laundry appliance. For the event, LG created a special space decorated with WashTowers featuring stained-glass patterns. High Line Park is a popular tourist spot in New York, attracting about 8 million visitors each year.
This ceremony is part of LG’s ongoing “Love to Laundry” campaign, which started last year. The campaign encourages people to spend more quality time with family and loved ones while using LG’s laundry appliances, which come with convenient features. LG plans to continue promoting this campaign across the United States until July. Activities include displaying new campaign videos on the Times Square billboard in New York and collaborating with well-known influencers to create content.
Earlier this year, LG Electronics was ranked first in key categories such as drum washing machines, top-load washers, and agitator washers by the U.S. consumer magazine Consumer Reports. The brand also topped the publication’s Most Reliable Appliance Brands survey for the sixth year in a row.
