Kelsea Ballerini made a young fan’s day unforgettable by gifting her a pair of sparkly pink boots during the final show of her “Kelsea Ballerini Live On Tour” in Toronto.
The 31-year-old country music star was performing on stage when she spotted a little girl watching the concert from her father’s arms. In a heartwarming moment captured by fans, Ballerini made eye contact with the girl and decided to give her the boots she was wearing.
“It’s the last night of tour, and I told everyone, ‘Anything goes,'” Ballerini said in a fan-recorded video, sitting on stage. “I know you’re small now, but you’re growing, and one day these boots might fit you.”
Ballerini, who had worn the boots only a few times, reassured the girl by saying, “They shouldn’t be that sweaty,” before adding, “By the time they fit, maybe they won’t be sweaty at all.”
The singer then handed the boots to a security guard, who passed them to the girl’s family. The little girl, dressed in a sparkly dress, happily accepted the gift, nodding when Ballerini asked if she liked them.
“I want a picture when you fit into them,” Ballerini told the girl. “Promise?” she asked, to which the girl smiled and blew her a kiss before the concert continued.
The generous gesture was a special moment in the final stop of Ballerini’s three-month arena tour, which began in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on January 21 and included performances in 36 cities across the U.S.
After wrapping up the tour, Ballerini took to Instagram to express her gratitude to the team that helped bring the tour to life. “We made it home,” she wrote, thanking everyone who worked on the show. “It has been a labor of love, and I’m beyond grateful to share this first with such talented and kind humans.”
Ballerini, who also serves as a coach on “The Voice,” will take a break before headlining the CMA Fest, a three-day country music festival, on June 6.
