The Wenatchee Valley YMCA has received a significant boost with a \$750,000 donation from the Foundation of Caring Fund, representing the Carl & Betty Campbell family. This donation will support the YMCA’s ongoing capital campaign, “Building What Matters.”
The Foundation of Caring Fund was established to honor Carl and Betty Campbell’s legacy of compassion, service, and community investment. Their vision aligns with the YMCA’s mission, which focuses on strengthening the foundations of the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Dorry Foster, CEO of the Wenatchee Valley YMCA, expressed gratitude for the generous contribution, saying, “This incredible gift from the Foundation of Caring and the Campbell family is a powerful statement of belief in our vision for the future. It will help us create a facility that meets the evolving needs of our community and continues to offer life-changing programs for generations to come.”
The “Building What Matters” campaign aims to build a new facility that will increase the YMCA’s capacity, improve accessibility, and enhance its impact on the community. These improvements will further establish the YMCA as a vital hub for health, connection, and opportunity across the Wenatchee Valley.
The YMCA is now encouraging other community members to follow the Campbell family’s example by contributing to the campaign and helping shape the future of the region.
