Kenyan comedian and radio presenter David Oyando, known as Mulamwah, recently celebrated a personal milestone by purchasing a new Mercedes Benz S550. The entertainer, famous for his humorous takes on everyday life, shared the news on social media, revealing that he bought the luxury car as a birthday gift to himself.
Mulamwah posted, “And for my birthday gift, from E-Class Benz to a sleek Mercedes Benz S-550, 4.8L V8 Bi-Turbo Engine,” proudly showing off the black vehicle to his fans.
In a heartfelt message, the Milele FM presenter explained that the money used to buy the car was originally saved for his wedding to ex-fiancée Ruth K. After their breakup, he chose to use the funds to fulfill a long-held personal dream.
“I used the money that I had saved for my wedding—but things didn’t go as planned—to purchase it,” he shared, giving fans an insight into his emotional and financial shift.
The new S-Class Mercedes represents a significant upgrade from his previous E-Class model.
Mulamwah also used the moment to inspire his followers. He said, “With God, nothing is impossible. As always, move slowly, move correctly. Even if people don’t believe in you, always believe in yourself.”
