Doireann Garrihy and her husband, Mark Mehigan, celebrated six months of marriage this week. The couple exchanged vows on November 29, 2024, at the K Club in Kildare.
To mark the occasion, the 33-year-old 2FM host shared several photos from their wedding day on Instagram. One image showed the newlyweds dancing, with their first dance song revealed as “You Get What You Give” by New Radical. Doireann captioned the post simply, “Six months of us mehiganmark.”
In a sweet gesture, Mark surprised Doireann with a smaller version of their wedding cake, which she described on Instagram Stories as “the perfect addition to my iced coffee.” She praised the chocolate biscuit cake from 2210 as “the most sensationally delicious thing of all time” and said she planned to have it for breakfast.
Mark also posted a loving tribute, sharing a wedding photo and writing, “Six months married to the beautiful Doireann Garrihy today. I’m a very lucky man.”

Recently, Doireann attended a hen party in Paris for her close friend Marie Ellen. She shared pictures from the luxurious Siena restaurant, known for its vintage dusty pink booths, cherry red lamps, and a chandelier designed like a flock of birds in flight. The two friends appeared cheerful, with Marie Ellen wearing a sheer white shirt and Doireann in a black smock dress.
The couple also announced that they are expecting their first child, adding to the joy of their first six months of marriage.
