Mumbai, May 15 — In a touching tribute to Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit’s 58th birthday, a devoted fan and philanthropist in Jamshedpur arranged the weddings of three poor girls. The ceremonies followed traditional customs and rituals, bringing joy and hope to the couples and their families.
The event took place at Sakchi Manohar Chaat and began with devotional prayers seeking blessings for the day. At 8 PM, the wedding ceremonies started, attended by the families of the brides and grooms. All cultural traditions were carefully observed during the weddings.
After the ceremonies, the organizer, Pappu Sardar, congratulated the newlyweds and gifted them essential household items to help start their new lives. At midnight, Pappu cut a cake to celebrate Madhuri Dixit’s birthday.
Speaking to the media, Pappu said he felt proud to give such a priceless gift in honor of his sister. He described the experience of performing the ‘kanyadaan’ ceremony, where the bride is given away, as deeply fulfilling.
