A family dispute between Denise Richards’ daughters, Sami Sheen and Lola Sheen, has played out publicly on social media after accusations surfaced regarding a Mother’s Day celebration.
Sami Sheen, 21, a content creator on OnlyFans, shared a viral TikTok video on May 15, claiming that her younger sister Lola, 19, failed to contribute to their Mother’s Day lunch or buy a gift for their mother. The video, which has garnered over 3.5 million views, included a series of pointed accusations, including calling Lola a “liar.”
Sami said she made the lunch reservation, paid the full bill despite Lola’s promise to split the cost, and also purchased flowers, luxury items from Barefoot Dreams, and a candle for Richards. “Lola couldn’t even get her flowers,” Sami told viewers. She also accused her sister of using the excuse that a gift was “in the mail,” which she claimed was a repeat excuse since Christmas.
The post escalated as Sami alleged that Lola failed to get her a birthday present and had previously lied about spending time with Sami’s ex-boyfriend. She referenced a group dinner where she felt publicly embarrassed by Lola, adding that the tension between them had only recently been addressed during filming for their family’s reality show Denise Richards & Her Wild Things.
Lola responded to the viral backlash with her own video, expressing regret that the situation had been made public. “I was always taught not to post things about people online, especially family,” she said, referencing lessons from their parents, Denise Richards and actor Charlie Sheen. Lola stressed that their family values include keeping private matters off the internet.
“I would never say anything negative about my own family online,” Lola said, adding that she had, in fact, gotten their mother flowers and a card. She supported her statement by showing a photo of a bouquet. Lola said there are “a lot of things to this story” that are not public and cautioned against drawing conclusions without knowing the full context.
“I’m not a terrible daughter or person,” she concluded, while also acknowledging people’s assumptions in response to the online videos.
As the public continues to weigh in on the sisters’ feud, the incident highlights the challenges celebrity families face when personal disagreements go viral. Neither Denise Richards nor Charlie Sheen has commented on the matter.
