The Pasco Police Foundation is appealing to the community for support by asking residents to donate unused gift cards to help with an upcoming fundraiser.
Organizers are requesting gift cards with a minimum value of $15. These can be dropped off at the Pasco Police Department during regular business hours. The collection effort will continue through the end of the day on Thursday, June 27.
The donated cards will be used to support the foundation’s broader charitable efforts, including its Pasco Cares initiative, which provides aid and outreach within the community.
As a gesture of appreciation, each person who contributes a gift card will receive a stuffed animal named “Fuzz Da Bear,” symbolizing the foundation’s gratitude for the community’s continued support.
The Pasco Police Foundation encourages residents to participate in this drive, noting that even a single contribution can help make a difference in local programs that serve those in need.
