Alec Baldwin celebrated Father’s Day with his children on Sunday, June 15. The 67-year-old actor grew emotional while opening gifts with his family, as shown in a video posted by his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, 41, on Instagram.
Alec and Hilaria have seven children together: daughters Ilaria Catalina Irena, 2; María Lucía Victoria, 4; and Carmen Gabriela, 11; and sons Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas, 4; Romeo Alejandro David, 6; Leonardo Ángel Charles, 8; and Rafael Thomas, 9. Alec is also father to daughter Ireland Baldwin, 29, from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger.
Hilaria captioned the video, “Happy Father’s Day to this daddy @alecbaldwininsta and to all the other papas out there! Or happy birthday as the baby says. Sending lots of love to all of you! #fathersday.”
The video begins with young Ilaria saying, “Happy birthday, daddy,” even though Alec’s birthday is on April 3. Alec smiles as he opens a gift box containing silverware, joking about finally having his own silverware set.
As the clip continues, Hilaria brings a lit candle, and the family playfully sings “Happy Birthday.” Alec lets his daughters blow out the candle and mimics their actions with a smile.
“Say, happy Father’s Day,” Hilaria prompts the children. Ilaria, sitting on Alec’s lap, repeats the phrase, which visibly moves him. He hugs her tightly to his chest.
Their sons also join the celebration as María starts singing “Happy Birthday.” Alec thanks Hilaria, saying, “Thank you, mother, for my silverware.”
Earlier in June, Alec celebrated his 67th birthday with a video of his seven younger children singing to him. He posted the clip on Instagram with the caption, “Happy Birthday, Alec. We love you!”
In a February interview with PEOPLE, Alec spoke about his large family. He said he “wouldn’t change anything” about it. He joked that he should be relaxing on a yacht instead of changing diapers. Hilaria added, “Instead we’re changing diapers!”
Alec also shared his thoughts on fatherhood, saying, “As I’m getting older, I don’t want to be tougher or anything. I just want to be a father to my kids. I want to watch and experience the years we have left, and not have it be about me.”
