His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn has bestowed royal gifts to uplift the spirits of soldiers stationed at the Thai-Cambodian border. On Monday at 9 a.m., Privy Councillor General Paiboon Koomchaya visited the operational base near Ta Moan Thom Temple in Nam Yuen district, Ubon Ratchathani province. He delivered the royal gifts to troops serving under the Suranaree Task Force of the 2nd Army Region.
The visit was intended to convey the King’s message of concern and support for the military personnel, local residents, and administrative officers who work to protect national sovereignty along the border.
Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, 2nd Army Region commander Lieutenant General Boonsin Padklang, and Suranaree Task Force commander Major General Sompop Pharawet welcomed General Paiboon and accompanied him during the visit.
