South Korean actor Lee Min Ho celebrated his 38th birthday on Sunday, June 22, receiving an outpouring of love and gifts from fans across the globe. The popular star took to Instagram to thank his followers for their continued support and shared a glimpse of the many presents he received.
In a series of photos posted on his account, Lee Min Ho is seen dressed in a relaxed all-black outfit, standing in a room filled with balloons, flower arrangements, cakes, and other fan gifts. One image shows him holding a vanilla cake with a broad smile, while another captures him accepting a bouquet from a fan. In another photo, he is seated joyfully in front of a large poster of himself, clearly moved by the affection shown.
In the caption, he wrote, “Once again, I’m grateful for all the love that allows me to exist today. I hope you’re as happy as I am.” Fans quickly responded with warm birthday wishes and messages of admiration.
Lee Min Ho, who has been a leading figure in Korean entertainment for over 20 years, most recently starred in the K-drama When the Stars Gossip, a sci-fi romantic comedy that marked his return to television after a five-year hiatus. Despite high anticipation, the show, which aired on tvN in January, did not receive strong viewer response. The drama also starred Gong Hyo Jin, Oh Jung Se, and Han Ji Eun.
Looking ahead, Lee Min Ho is preparing for the release of his upcoming film Omniscient Reader: The Prophet, an action-fantasy project based on the popular web novel Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint by Sing Shong. Directed by Kim Byung Woo, the film features an ensemble cast including Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, Nana, and Jisoo. It is set to premiere in theatres on July 23, 2025.
