The 43rd Annual Christmas in Ida Festival and Parade of Lights will take place from December 4 to 6. The festival is expected to feature six concerts with 12 artists performing throughout the weekend. Known as a music destination, the event showcases both national and regional talent.
The Christmas in Ida Executive Board of Directors for 2025 has been confirmed. Dale W. Zorn will serve as executive director, Carl Cramer as assistant executive director, and Sue Pickens as chairperson. Other board members include Jamie Hunter as secretary, Mark Mathe as treasurer, Matt LaVoy as chairperson of the Parade of Lights, Cody Cooper as co-chairman of the Parade of Lights, and Josh Stump as director of stage entertainment. Additional members are Kim Wirth, chairperson of the Ida High School craft show; Stephine Gabriel, chairperson of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church craft show; Kim Diven, chairperson of the Ida Christmas Mall; Cindy Zorn, director of the commemorative concert and coordinator of the entertainer green room; Cindy Bolley, director of social media; Holden Turner and Diana Cramer, trustees; Barb Turner and Lizzie Wirth, members at large.
Other attractions include Holiday Hounds on Parade, Santa’s Zoo, Children’s Lunch with Santa, Holiday Art on the Avenue, ice sculptures, carriage rides, a video arcade, fireworks, and the Christmas in Ida Parade of Lights.
The Christmas in Ida organization also awarded a \$500 scholarship to Ida High School senior Mia Karl. The scholarship recognizes community service through volunteer work and is administered by Ida High School. Applications for the 2026 scholarship are available at the high school office.
