A Hagerstown woman’s annual birthday tradition turned into an unexpected windfall this year.
Mary Houck has received three scratch-off tickets from her boss every year for her birthday. This year, one of the tickets brought her a top prize of \$57,777.

But luck didn’t stop there. Houck also won \$25 on another ticket, making two out of the three scratch-offs winners.

After the big win, Houck quickly shared the news with her boss, who initially thought she was joking.

As a result of selling the top-prize *Lucky 7’s Tripler* scratch-off, the Giant store at 3530 Sugarloaf Parkway in Frederick will receive a bonus of \$577.77, courtesy of the Maryland Lottery.
