Andy Cohen celebrated his daughter Lucy’s third birthday with a unique surprise: a diaper-themed birthday cake. The host of Watch What Happens Live shared the moment on Instagram on May 28, where he revealed that Lucy had requested just one thing for her special day—underwear. Cohen proudly announced that Lucy was transitioning from diapers to “big kid” underwear, marking the milestone as she grows older.
In the video, Cohen thanked Coterie, a brand of diapers, for being part of the celebration as Lucy “graduated” from diapers. “Here’s to her big kid underwear era!” he captioned the post.
Cohen also shared a card from Coterie congratulating Lucy on reaching the potty training milestone. The video then showed Lucy unwrapping a gift—a small bag filled with multiple pairs of underwear. When asked if she liked the gift, Lucy responded affirmatively, and Cohen asked, “Do you love it?”
After confirming her excitement, Cohen teased Lucy with another surprise. “The fun’s not over,” he told her, before revealing a birthday cake that read, “In My Underwear Era.”
The father-daughter duo then shared a light-hearted exchange. Cohen asked, “Who’s going to change diapers?” to which Lucy confidently replied, “Me.” Cohen quickly responded, “No one. You’re in your underwear era!”
Earlier in April, Cohen had posted a video where Lucy asked for underwear again when he inquired about her birthday wishes. He humorously referred to her as a “low maintenance child… for now!”
