Ray and Sharon Loss Bobey of Deltona, Florida, formerly of West Hazleton, are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary today, June 20.
The couple was married in 1970 at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Hazleton. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. John Koval. Daniel Santucci served as best man, and Nancy Henderschedt Barkus was the maid of honor.

Ray and Sharon Bobey are the parents of two daughters: Suzanne Phillips and her husband, John, of Deltona, Florida; and Roxanne Palmieri of Drums. They are also proud grandparents to three grandchildren—Ty, Luke, and Max Palmieri.
