Ahead of UFC 315, Garry lightened the mood during a press event with this sweet gesture. Jack Della Maddalena is set to fight reigning champion Belal Muhammad for the welterweight title. This fight is highly anticipated, especially as Islam Makhachev, Muhammad’s longtime training partner, plans to move up to the welterweight division. Both Makhachev and Muhammad have dismissed the idea of facing each other inside the Octagon for now.
In a recent podcast, Muhammad ruled out Ian Machado Garry as a backup for UFC 315. Though Garry has yet to respond publicly, his thoughtful act caught the attention of fans online.
A post on social media showed Garry using AI platform ChatGPT to find out Jack’s favorite snack. When the AI replied with M\&M peanuts, Garry bought a pack and had his toddler deliver it to Della Maddalena, who received it warmly, calling Garry a “legend” and giving the child a high-five.
The gesture quickly went viral and won praise from fans. Comments included “Garry is a damn legend,” “This is great,” and “That’s pretty cute man.”
UFC 315 will take place on May 10 at 10 p.m. EST. The event will feature two title fights: Della Maddalena vs. Muhammad for the welterweight belt, and a women’s flyweight bout between Valentina Shevchenko and Manon Fiorot.
