Rochester Community Honors Local Restaurateur With Unexpected Gift

Rochester, N.Y. — Evangela Stanley, a well-known figure in the Rochester community for her kindness and generosity, received a special surprise on Thursday.

Stanley owns The People’s Choice Restaurant and has gained recognition for her commitment to helping those in need. She is known for serving others with warmth and giving heartfelt gifts.

At a surprise event called Salute to Heroes, Stanley was honored with a brand-new car.

“I am beyond surprised,” Stanley said. “It is overwhelming. I had no idea I was even nominated. I just love and appreciate this community and want to keep giving back. The YMCA plays a big role in supporting my events. For me, it’s all about the parents and kids and bringing a smile to someone’s face.”
