LIV golfer Bubba Watson attended the Indiana Fever’s second game of the season against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. He was excited to meet Fever star Caitlin Clark.
Watson, a two-time Masters champion, met Clark before the game. He brought a special golf-related gift for her—a driver that he signed. Clark, who enjoys golfing in the offseason, happily accepted the gift and took photos with Watson and the driver.
Watson shared his enthusiasm about meeting Clark and talked about his wife, Angie, who once played for the Charlotte Sting in the WNBA.
Calling the moment a “dream come true,” Watson showed that even professional athletes can be starstruck.
