Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin celebrated Father’s Day with a heartfelt family moment that was shared on Instagram by his wife, Hilaria Baldwin. The 67-year-old father of eight became emotional while opening gifts from his children.
Baldwin and Hilaria share seven children together: daughters Ilaria Catalina Irena, 2; Maria Lucia Victoria, 4; and Carmen Gabriela, 11; and sons Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas, 4; Romeo Alejandro David, 6; Leonardo Angel Charles, 8; and Rafael Thomas. Alec Baldwin is also father to Ireland Baldwin, 29, from his previous marriage to actress Kim Basinger.
In the video, their youngest daughter Ilaria mistakenly wished him a happy birthday despite Alec’s birthday being in April. Alec opened a gift box containing silverware and joked about finally having his own set, smiling warmly. Hilaria then approached with a lit candle, and the family sang “Happy Birthday” in a playful mood.
Alec allowed his daughters to blow out the candle and mimicked their actions affectionately. Hilaria encouraged the children to say “Happy Father’s Day,” and Ilaria repeated the phrase, causing Alec to become visibly emotional and hug her tightly. Their sons joined in the celebration as Maria began singing “Happy Birthday” again.
At the end of the clip, Alec thanked his wife for the silverware gift with a lighthearted comment. The video captured a tender and joyful family moment on Father’s Day.
