A heartwarming birthday gift has gone viral on TikTok after bringing 25-year-old Jenna Hillman to tears. The touching video shows Jenna’s emotional reaction when she opens a custom-made coloring book filled with pictures from her most cherished memories with friends and family.
Turning 25 was a milestone for Jenna, but it came with a mix of excitement and anxiety. “Honestly, leading up to my birthday, I was stressing out because I thought I was having a midlife crisis,” Jenna jokes. However, her birthday nerves quickly faded once she unwrapped her gift.
“I had no idea what it was going to be,” she recalls. “We had a big dinner with all my best friends. When I opened the box, which was light, and saw the title ‘The Life of Jenna Rose: A Coloring Book,’ I just started crying.”
The coloring book, created by her friend Olivia, was not only a nod to Jenna’s love of coloring but also a tribute to the strength of her friendships. Each page was filled with outlined photos of Jenna and her loved ones.
“They included pictures from our trip to Italy this summer, which was so special,” Jenna says. “Even my friend who doesn’t live in the state sent in pictures. My sister, who couldn’t attend the dinner, was included too. It wasn’t just the people at the dinner; it was everyone I love.”
What made this gift even more meaningful was the personal touch. Olivia went above and beyond, designing the book from scratch, including a personalized cover and collecting photos from Jenna’s friends and family. “She designed the entire book herself, and it was an incredible surprise,” Jenna shares.
Jenna’s passion for coloring began two years ago when she wanted to find a creative hobby. “I saw Bobbie Goods coloring books and started with those. I loved it so much that I’d color for hours at a time,” she says.
Although she hasn’t yet started coloring in the book, Jenna is excited to make sure it’s perfect. “I need to get new markers or colored pencils because I want to do this justice,” she says with a laugh. “I have to make this one my best work.”
Olivia’s thoughtful gift might also have sparked a new business venture. “She’s turning it into a full-fledged business, and I’m pushing her to do it. I think all of our friends will be receiving one soon. It’s a great gift idea,” Jenna notes.
Beyond the gift itself, Jenna views this viral moment as a celebration of female friendship. “One of the most important things in a woman’s life is having strong female friendships,” she says. “We feel so lucky to have each other. Their love for me reflects my love for them. We support each other, and I’m so grateful for this amazing friend group.”
