Ginny & Georgia made a strong return last week with its third season, quickly securing the top spot on Netflix’s most-watched TV shows chart and holding steady ever since. The latest episodes bring even more twists and turns, with the season culminating in what many are calling the series’ most shocking cliffhanger yet.
Fans are already eagerly awaiting season four, but Netflix has given them something to hold onto in the meantime. After the release of season three, the streaming service shared a video featuring deleted scenes from the new series. These clips, which showcase some of the supporting cast, give a behind-the-scenes glimpse of moments that didn’t make the final cut.
Netflix had already renewed Ginny & Georgia for two more seasons following the success of season two, which continues to be one of the platform’s most-watched original series. As creator Sarah Lampert hints at what’s to come, she reveals that season four will explore themes of “cycles and origins.”
The new season will dive into Georgia’s pregnancy, including the mystery surrounding the identity of her unborn child’s father. Cast member Brianne Howey also teased that the episodes will delve deeper into the circumstances that shaped Georgia’s character. Meanwhile, Ginny will continue to explore her own past in line with the “cycles and origins” theme.
While the release date for season four remains uncertain, the show has typically taken two years between seasons, meaning fans may have to wait until 2027. In the meantime, all three seasons of Ginny & Georgia are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
