DirecTV is marking its 31st anniversary throughout June with special rewards and charitable activities. Although the service officially launched on June 17, 1994, the company plans to celebrate all month long.
As part of the festivities, DirecTV will run a donation program where every DirecTV Perks token spent by members will contribute to a donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC). Depending on token usage, the total donation could reach up to \$50,000.
In addition, DirecTV is hosting several sweepstakes throughout June. Members have the chance to win one of five \$1,000 Amazon eGift cards, five \$1,000 Sonos eGift cards, or one of five \$800 Backyard Movie Bundles. The Backyard Movie Bundle includes a projector kit and a \$500 Uber Eats gift card. Entries for all sweepstakes are open until June 30.
This year, DirecTV has again partnered with Baskin-Robbins to celebrate the anniversary. Unlike last year’s daily gift card giveaways, members can now exchange 200 DirecTV Perks tokens for a \$5 Baskin-Robbins gift card.
