President Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored members of Ukraine’s State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection during their recent professional holiday. He presented state awards recognizing their vital role in maintaining secure and reliable communications essential to national defense.
Zelenskyy praised these servicemembers for their active participation in combat operations across key frontlines, including areas from Mykolaiv to Kursk. He specifically acknowledged the success of their strike drone units, efforts to restore communications in battle zones, and work protecting Ukraine in cyberspace.
The President expressed deep gratitude and assured that Ukraine will remember all who have sacrificed their lives in the conflict. Attendees observed a moment of silence to honor the fallen.
Among the honors awarded were the Orders of Danylo Halytskyi, and medals including “For Military Service to Ukraine,” “For Impeccable Service” (III class), and “To the Defender of the Motherland.”
