Bollywood actor Aparshakti Khurana recently dedicated his latest award to his late father on what would have been his birthday, May 18.
He shared on social media that if his father were alive, he would have proudly carried the award with him. Calling it the perfect birthday gift, Aparshakti posted a heartfelt message alongside photos with his Best Actor in a Comic Role trophy for his work in the film Stree 2.
This award holds special meaning for him as he honored his father while celebrating the win.
Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, is the fourth movie in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe and a sequel to Stree (2018). The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.
The story follows a group of friends trying to defeat Sarkata, a headless spirit who abducts women in the town of Chanderi.
In the film, Aparshakti plays Bittu, the witty and loyal friend of Rajkummar Rao’s character Vicky. His humorous role adds charm and lightness to the horror-comedy, making his character memorable.
