The University of West Florida’s Usha Kundu, MD College of Health (UKCOH) celebrated its 10th anniversary by honoring alumni and community leaders at its first-ever Community and Alumni Awards, held May 20 at the Pensacola Museum of Art.
As part of the celebration, the college also announced a $25,000 donation from friends and family of founding dean Dr. Ermalynn Kiehl. The gift will establish the “Founding Dean, Dr. Ermalynn Kiehl Excellence Endowment,” which will support scholarships and college operations.
“As we celebrate our College’s 10th anniversary, it’s fitting that we recognize the individuals who have helped shape our mission and extend our impact,” said Dr. Dave Bellar, current dean of UKCOH. “These award recipients exemplify what it means to lead with purpose and serve with compassion. We are proud to honor their achievements and grateful for the difference they continue to make in the lives of others.”
